Summer programme for police officers children in Al Ain
Al Ain Police Directorate discussed in a meeting held on Sunday at Al Ain Police Officers Club the preparations for the summer programme during summer vacation for the police officers kids.
Lt. Colonel Harib Khamis Al Kheili, Director of the Club said "The organization of this programme is within the framework of ADP GHQ strategy aiming at increasing security and preventive awareness among schools pupils, and pending their leisure time in different cultural, religious, sports and recreational programmes, to protect them against unbecoming behaviors and conducts".
The summer leisure activities will start with effect from 20 June 2010 and will continue for one month. Pupils whose ages category between 8 – 13 years will be included in the programme.. It is organized by the Club for the third time in Al Ain.
This year programme will be comprehensive, diversified and attractive in order to create an aware generation and can bear its responsibilities for his community and nation.
The meeting was attended by representatives from the Club, Civil Defence Department, Traffic Institute, Forensic Evidence Section and Media and Public relations Section at Al Ain Police Directorate.
The meeting also reviewed the activities to be included in the summer programme for police officers children. The programme will include field visits to some police Departments, such as the Traffic Institute, Civil defence, Emergency and Public safety Section to acquaint themselves with the work of these departments and the efforts made to maintain public safety and stability. The programme will include visits to other tourist sites in Al Ain City.
