Sultan bin Tahnoun lauds Abu Dhabi Police efforts to promote security
Sheikh Sultan bin Tahnoun Al Nahyan, Chairman of Abu Dhabi Tourism Authority visited on Friday the show held by Abu Dhabi Police GHQ on the sidelines of the Al Ain Aerobatics Show.
Sheikh Sultan was accompanied during the tour by Brigadier Hamad Ajlan Al Ameemi, director of Al Ain Police and Lt. Colonel Tariq Al Shareef, head of festivals committee.
He was briefed on the contents of the police show which comprised stalls of community police, Tourism Police, Traffic and Patrols, Ambulance and Rescue, F999 magazine and IT & Communications.
Sheikh Sultan expressed his satisfaction about the show, and the state-of-the-art equipment and devices Abu Dhabi Police is using, praising the efforts being exerted to develop these facilities to further boost the stability and security of the society.
Brigadier Al Ameemi affirmed keenness of police leadership to participate in different national occasions with the aim of communicating with the public and enforcing relationship with the external partners and all the segments of the society.
At the end of the visit, Lt. Col Tariq Al Shareef presented Sheikh Sultan bin Tahnoun Al Nahyan with the commemorative trophy of Al Ain Police Directorate.
On the other hand, the police show attracted huge masses of visitors and tourists from inside and outside Al Ain City.
A number of visitors lauded the good organization of the police show. Rashed Saeed Al Darmaki, a local visitor, said that the show reflects the keenness of police leadership to modernize the police apparatus to be among the most advanced police organization worldwide.
