Seventh Ramadan football tournament kicks off in Al Ain
The 7th Ramadan Football Tournament has begun in Al Ain under the patronage of Brigadier Hamad Ajlan Al Ameemi, director of Al Ain Police Directorate with the participation of 12 teams.
The event, organized by the Special Tasks Section at the General Directorate of Guards and Special Tasks of Abu Dhabi Police, has been witnessed by Colonel Mohammed Suhail Al Rashedi, deputy director of Al Ain Police with the presence of a number of police officers.
On the first day, a number of matches were played, Al Sanaieyah police team achieved striking 10-1 win over Al Hadaf Brokerage team.
The Explosives team also swept the Correctional Facilities by 9-1, while the Special Tasks team defeated the Operations team by 2-1.
Major Saeed Nasser Al Esaie, head of the Special Tasks Section, Al Ain, and head of the organizing committee, delivered a speech in which he stressed the importance of the sport tournaments in boosting the social communication between the police personnel and civil institutions.
