Senior Iraqi Police Officers get community police training
In response to HH Lt. General Shaikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minster of Interior’s directives, the Community Police Department at Abu Dhabi Police organized a training course for 10 Iraqi senior police officers.
Major General Mohammad bin Al Awadhi Al Minhali, Director General of Human Resources at Abu Dhabi Police GHQ, attended the concluding ceremony of the course.
Al Minhali said that the organization of the course was in line with his Highness’s keenness to support the stability, security and safety of Iraq. Abu Dhabi Police GHQ would spare no effort to enhance bilateral cooperation and Iraqi Ministry of Interior efforts to reinforce security and stability of Iraq.
Major Mubarak bin Mohairoom, Acting Director of Community Police Department welcomed the participating Iraqi officers in the introductory course to community police tasks and duties. The aim of the course was to enhance cooperation and exchange experiences between Abu Dhabi Police and Iraqi Police. The course focused on the concept, goals and duties of community police from Abu Dhabi Police perspective.
At the end of the ceremony Major General Al Minhali honored Iraqi trainees headed by Brigadier Abdul Hameed Shaaban, Deputy C-in-C of Iraqi Police Force.
