Furthermore, he noted that this achievement embodies the ADP vision to continuously develop the skills of its staff to face any challenges that arise from global changes. He also emphasized the police leadership’s commitment to keep pace with the future goals of the Plan Abu Dhabi 2030, and to determine the aspects of security response to promote stability, as a cornerstone for further development and evolution.

In the same context, Colonel Jamal Habash, Director of Security Inspection Department (K-9), said that the Search and Rescue Team of sniffer dogs has already passed successfully Level 1of IRO tests, and is reinforcing its readiness to pass the second level, known for its difficult exercises and tests, held in Hungary.

He added that the team included 6 internationally certified trainers from IRO, working closely with the United Nations; accompanied by 6 dogs. The team underwent a four week training program, which included training on search for victims under rubble, and obedience. The training sessions were followed by a re-evaluation phase, to determine the level of development in training, and address the negative aspects. A series of rehearsals and training scenarios was conducted during the final week, in preparation for the two-day test hat the team passed successfully.
