Saif bin Zayed receives Director General of Arab Labor Organization
HH Lt. General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior received in his office on Tuesday Dr. Ahmed Mohammad Luqman, he Director General of Arab Labor Organization (ALO). They discussed issues of mutual interest and the achievements of the Organization which keeps pace with global events, international agendas and of interest to Arab nationals.
HH has lauded the Organization efforts and its different achievements in support of employment, facing unemployment, efforts to find employment opportunities, building the abilities of labor departments and activation of Arab economic and social integration.
HH also has praise their efforts to support training and technical education and their link with labor market. Major General Nasser La Khreibani Al Nuaimi, Secretary General of HH's Office and Mr. Humaid bin Deimass, Acting Director general of the Ministry of Labour were present during the audience.
Dr. Luqman confirmed that one of the Arab Forums the importance of making an Arab strategy for technical and vocational training showing the role of business owners, development mechanisms and Arab cooperation methods in this area.
It is known that ALO has announced recently its intension to a special report on employment to show Arab Ministers and Governments the real situation. It also intends to launch Arab Decade for Employment with a view to reducing unemployment during the coming ten years.
