Saif bin Zayed orders logistic support to Medias at incidents scenes
HH Lt. general Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior has reviewed the Media Patrols launched by the Department of Security Media at the Secretariat General of the Office of Hh the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior. The launch of the media patrols is considered an unprecedented initiative in the Region. They cover Abu Dhabi Island round the clock.
HH during his inspection of media patrol vehicles at ADP GHQ, he has ordered that logistic support is to be provided to Medias at scenes of incidents. Those concerned should pay great attention to the good quality of results. The media patrol vehicles are equipped with state-of-the-art technology and well qualified human cadres. They will provide media men with the news of important events and incidents. This indicates that MoI is committed to transparency, to ensure persons safety.
1st Lt. Mohammad Humaid Al Darie, Head of Field Archive at the Department of Security Media said "The mobile media patrols will support security media progress and will monitor and film events, crises, fires etc., across Abu Dhabi Island. The project comes within the framework of implementation of ADP strategy and its keenness to make use of modern technologies in the development of police cadres, and enhancement of safety and security"
The media patrols will cover Abu Dhabi Island round the clock. They receive reports from ADP GHQ Central Operations Room. The patrols are run by a qualified national crew, working in shifts to cover events and incidents at the time of their occurrence.
