Saif bin Zayed directs the introduction of
Center for Normative Comparisons at Ministry of Interior

 

 HH Lt. General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minster of Interior, has directed that a Center for Normative Comparisons is to be introduced in the Ministry of Interior (MoI).

 It will be the first of its kind in the Middle East. It will manage and implement comparison processes of different organizational units of MoI with regional and international organizations. This step will contribute to the development of services, through promotion of the performance of organizational units by implementing the best practices.

 Major General Nasser La Khreibani Al Nuaimi, Secretary General of HH’s Office said that the introduction of the center is in line with the great development efforts being implemented at MoI now to enhance its services.

  The center will prepare the policies and methods required to manage and implement normative comparisons processes. The center will progress steadily in performance in undertaking the tasks in concerned areas. These include making comparisons between different police stations and their counterparts world-wide, in order to select the best practices for quality and excellence.

 It is worth mentioning that normative comparisons are considered an effective and continuous tool which depends on best practices principle and assist in the exchange of knowledge and experience.
