Saif bin Zayed chairs meeting of higher command in Fujairah

 

Lit. General H.H Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior stressed the importance of continuous police work to ensure delivery of premium services to the public.

Sheikh Saif was presiding over on Tuesday the Higher Command Committee meeting held at the Al Fujairah Police General Headquarters where issues of strategy and performance indicators for 2011-2012 will be discussed.

Sheikh Saif listened to a detailed presentation about civil defence and discussed the major challenges and obstacles, calling upon the committee to put suitable solutions for them.

He also learned about the strategic plans and work programs of correctional and punitive institutions.

Sheikh Saif also inspected workflow of police in the emirate of Al Fujairah and examined the development plans and police work programs at various stations and sections affiliated with Al Fujairah Police.

During the visit, Sheikh Saif was accompanied by Lt. Colonel Saif Abdullah Al Sha’far, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior, Major General Nasser Lekhrebani Al Nuaimi, Secretary General of the Office H.H Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, Brigadier Ali Khalfan Al Dhaheri, Director - General of the Headquarters Affairs at Abu Dhabi Police and a number of officers.

Visiting Al Fujairah Airport Police Station, he listened to a presentation that has focused on the details of the strategic initiative for the year 2011. Then he visited the Al Medina Comprehensive Police Station, and was briefed on the workflow there. He toured the different sections of the Station and was briefed by Major Rashed Al Yammahi, Director of the Station about duties and tasks carried out in various fields including traffic, community and criminal related issues.

Al Fujairah Police Commander-in- Chief, Brigadier Mohammed Ahmed bin Ghanem Al Kaabi extended thanks and appreciation to HH Sheikh Saif for his continuous support to all police sectors at the ministry of interior and other community organizations and activities related to social security and general stability.
