Lt. General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, instructed the Police Commandment to pay greater attention to the elements of the support and care for family bonding; to achieve an effective partnership between police and the community, and to prevent crime, according to the best developed standards, as well as enhancing the aid and rescue process; to help achieve optimal response rates in emergency situations.
While presiding the sixth meeting of the Abu Dhabi Police Higher Commandment Committee for 2012, His Highness emphasized the importance of promoting joint coordination to provide more services; and elevate the level of police work to better levels.
The meeting, which was held at the Abu Dhabi Police General Headquarters, tackled a number of topics related to enhancing police work, including the project on family bonding for inmates of the Penal and Correctional institutions, as well as the strategy to develop ambulance services in Abu Dhabi Police.
Moreover, His Highness, Lt. General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan listened to a number of new proposals and ideas, which would develop police work; as well as recommendations that will facilitate the practical implementation of these proposals on the ground.
The meeting was attended by Major General Nasser Lakhraibani Nuaimi, Secretary General of the Office of H.H Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior; Major General Khalil Dawood Badran, Director General of Finance and Services Department; Major General Mohammed bin Al Awadhi Al Menhali, Director General of Human Resources; Major General Ahmed Nasser Al Raisi, Director General of Central Operations; Major General Dr. Abdul Quddus Abdul Razzaq Al Obaidli, Director General of the General Administration of Total Quality Performance at Dubai Police; Brigadier Ali Khalfan Al Dhaheri, Director General of Headquarters Affairs at Abu Dhabi Police; Colonel Mohammed Dalmooj Al Dhaheri, Director General of Strategy and Performance Development in the Secretariat general of the Office of H.H Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior; Colonel Sheikh Mohammed bin Tahnoon Al Nahyan, Director of Peripheral Areas Directorate of Abu Dhabi Police, and a number of senior officers.
