Saif bin Zayed calls for enhancing
development efforts to the highest levels
HH Lt. General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior and Deputy Chairman of Emirates Identity Authority (EIDA) Board of Directors chaired the meeting of EIDA Board of Directors at MoI.
The meetings discussed a number of issues on its agenda and took decisions about them. The meeting also approved budgets allocated to EIDA. The meeting would submit the new strategy of EIDA to the Board of Directors at the end of February for approval.
HH confirmed the keenness of HH General Sheikh Mohammad bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces and Chairman of EIDA Board of Directors, to enhance development efforts to promote the services delivered by the Authority to the highest levels in accordance with the directives of the country’s Highest Leadership.
HH stressed the importance of registering Population Registry and ID System. He also focused on promoting customer services as a key point in EIDA strategy. HH lauded the efforts exerted now and urged their continuation. HH reviewed an electronic compatible system which would allow the Authority to follow up all technical problems, for appropriate solutions.
Dr. Ali Mohammad Al Khoori, Chairman of Higher management Committee at the Authority, presented to HH the components and initiatives of a project to develop the strategy of EIDA.
The meeting was attended by Saqr Ghabash, Minister of Labor and member of EIDA Board of Directors, Ahmed Mohammad Al Himyari, Secretary General of the Minister of Presidential Affairs and member of EIDA Board of Directors, Major General Ahmed Nasser Al Risi, Director general of Central Operations at ADP and Chairman of Executive Committee at EIDA Board of Directors and a number of EIDA Board of Directors members.
