Saif bin Zayed asks ADP to enhance distinguished services
Lt. General HH Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior chaired the 9th meeting of ADP Higher Command for 2010. The meeting focused on ways to deliver distinguished services to internal and external customers.
His Highness called for continuous development and adoption of creative ideas and plans to promote policing performance, in accordance with the goals of the Ministry of Interior strategy as part of the Local Government Strategy.
His Highness also affirmed the importance of ability to achieve excellence, to overcome difficulties and to improve performance quality. He said “Job excellence only comes through implementation of best global practices and standards”.
He urged Police Commanders to enhance excellence culture among employees of all Directorates and Departments and to develop abilities and capabilities which enable the national cadres to continue work during the coming stages to ensure continuity of quality and excellence approach.
The meeting which was held on Wednesday at ADP GHQ was attended by Major General Obeid Al Hiri Al Kitbi, Deputy Commander-in-chief of ADP, Major General Nasser La Khreibani Al Nuaimi, Secretary General of HH’s Office and ADP Senior Officers.
The meeting discussed policies, strategies, ADP strategy, performance indicators and other policing and security issues on the meeting agenda. H received all new ideas, proposals and recommendations to develop policing.
