Saaed Company for curbing traffic accidents promulgated

 

 The Ministry of Social Affairs has promulgated a public Utility Society under the name of (Saaed Society for Curbing Traffic Accidents). The Society will solve traffic problems that the community faces. The Society invites institutions, different sectors and philanthropists to contribute and support it for public interest.

Colonel (Engineer) Hussain Ahmed Al Harthi, Chairman of Saaed Company for Traffic Systems Board of Directors said “The Society has seven limited goals: Increasing awareness about the importance of curbing traffic accidents for all community members, extending cooperation bridges with civil society institutions to enhance the developmental role of the Society, cooperation with foreign community clubs and societies living in the country to educate their members on the country’s culture and laws in traffic safety areas, encouraging creative and new talents to present proposals and solutions to curb traffic accidents, Organizing workshops, forums and conferences in collaboration with relevant agencies, working on sorting out traffic problems that the community faces, in addition to the damage caused by some traffic accidents, size of accidents and tragedies resulting from traffic accidents, in cooperation with those concerned”.

 

“The Society is set up due to traffic accidents, resulting deaths and injuries, social and economic impact. This philanthropic work is intended tp educate people on the detrimental effects of traffic accidents, over speeding and reckless driving and to get people complied with traffic rules and regulations. Raining courses will be organized fro drivers to educate them on reckless driving and to find out suitable solutions, in addition to practical and scientific studies which assist in curbing traffic accidents”, added Al Harthi.

 

“Promulgation of the Society in order to curb traffic accidents, confirms that the UAE seeks to achieve the noble objectives of the Society. The Society will enhance traffic safety levels. We thank the Ministry of Social Affairs for promulgation of the Society”, added Al Harthi.

 

The Society Headquarters will be in Abu Dhabi and its activities will cover all the country. The Society will abide by the provisions of the Federal Law Number (2) of 2008, regarding the institutions and societies of public utility. The Decision will be effective from the date o promulgation of the Society and it shall be published in the Official Gazette.
