Round- the-clock ambulance vehicle is stationed at the Ministry of Interior Village in Al Ain city to provide on-site first aid services, and transfer patients to hospital if need be.
In a festive atmosphere and for the fifth consecutive day, the MoI Village, situated at the Heritage Village at Bid Bint Saud area, receives masses of visitors.
The Ministry of the Interior participates with more than 30 pavilions representing different police departments and sections, and more than 30 police and awareness activities targeting different segments of the society.
The Police College demonstrated the life cycle of the college recruits by publications and brochures and documentaries, in order to entice Emiratis to study at the Police College.
The organizers of Emergency and Public Safety Department in the Abu Dhabi Police give the idea to members of the public about the Victims Affairs Office, which receives public inquiries during grave and serious accidents that claim the lives of a number of people. Firefighting, ambulance and rescue tools and equipment are also being displayed at the pavilion. .
The village’s stage witnessed a demonstration presented by the Crime Scene Department at Abu Dhabi Police, featuring the procedures followed by the crime scene team to detect crimes, sush as photographing the scene, lifting fingerprints and seizing evidences.
Questions and queries of the public have been answered and visitors were advised to preserve the crime scene and avoid gathering there.
The MoI village is intended to disseminate security culture and social awareness, enlighten the public about the services offered by the Ministry of Interior, and view the modern police equipment displayed at the pavilions.
The public enjoyed watching live police dog shows presented by the Abu Dhabi Police Security Inspection Department (K9).
A number of children performed the Al Youla folkloric dance and police band also played attractive music. Visitors have interacted with the shows.
The activities include the organization of a variety of awareness and entertaining shows, contests with prizes for the members of the public, as well as distribution of awareness security and traffic- related pamphlets and brochures.
