A delegation from the Ras Al Khaimah Chamber of Commerce and Industry, led by Khaled Abdallah Al-Wahabi, Executive Director of the Chamber’s services’ sector, was briefed on the Ministry of Interior’s experience in implementing the best practices related to the Sheikh Khalifa Award for Government Excellence.
Colonel Mohammed Hamid Dalmouj Al Dhaheri, Director General of Strategy and Performance Development at the General Secretariat of the Office of His Highness, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, welcomed the Ministry of Interior’s visting delegation, emphasizing the keenness of the Strategy and Performance Development General Department to promote joint collaboration between local and federal departments and institutions, thus contributing to exchange knowledge and expertise; getting acquainted with the best practices and promoting partnerships, in line with the Federal Government’s vision and aspirations.
The meeting was attended by Colonel Aziz Hamoud Al-Amiri, Director of Strategy and Performance Development at the Ministry; Lieutenant Colonel Dr. Saeed Matar Al Saridi, Director of the Quality Management Department, Director of Technical Support Department in addition to a number of officers at the Strategy and Performance Development General Department at the Ministry of Interior.
During the visit, the delegation was given a presentation on the best practices in Human Resources, strategic planning, operation standards, results and customers’ service standards, as well as Organizational Excellence management to achieve the Sheikh Khalifa Award for Government Excellence. Colonel Aziz Hamoud Al-Amiri also gave a presentation on strategic planning standard; Lieutenant Dr. Saeed Matar Al Saridi outlined the operations and customers’ results standards; Captain Faysal Khoury gave a briefing on human resources standard, while Lieutenant Maryam Al Mandous gave a presentation on Organizational Excellence management, its various sections, tasks and duties.
For his part, the head of the delegation expressed his deep gratitude to the work team for their warm welcome and hospitality, stressing that by acquiring the Sheikh Khalifa Award for Government Excellence, the Ministry of Interior makes the people of the country proud; not to mention that this Award is the culmination of the sense of security and safety that the Ministry has managed to spread within the society; hoping for more excellence and progress.
