RAK Residency distributes gifts to school students
The Directorate General of Residency and Foreigners Affairs in Ras Al Khaima has distributed gifts to school students in RAK Emirate, on the occasion of the start of school year. The move is part of MoI social initiatives to communicate with the public and to enhance partnership with different community categories. The gifts include school bags, tools and stationery.
Colonel Sultan Yusuf Al Nuaimi, Director General of Residency and Foreigners’ Affairs in RAK has greeted all teaching staffs in RAK and wishing them a success in their educational message has lauded their honest efforts in work and their keenness on providing students with sciences and knowledge.
Colonel al Nuaimi said “The aim of this initiative is to achieve communication with education domain through organization of a campaign under the theme (Get a healthy school bag), with a view to spread the correct method of carrying school bags among parents”.
“This the second campaign in which we cooperate with the Ministry of Interior, represented by RAK Educational Zone, as they participated in last year campaign under the slogan (Renew your passport), which attracted great response from the public”, added Al Nuaimi.
He affirmed that these initiatives and strategic partnerships derive from the Directorate keenness on community safety and security, spread the spirit of cooperation and friendly feelings between policemen and community members in response to the directives of police leadership in MoI, aiming at enhancing communication and effective participation with all community segments.
