Pensions Authority reviews community policing and its work mechanisms
As part of ADP GHQ strategy, Captain Al Hajj Mabkhoot Al Minhali, Head of Community Policing Section at Abu Dhabi police delivered a lecture about community policing objectives, its work mechanisms and implementation methods at the Pensions Authority in Abu Dhabi.
"ADP GHQ Community Policing Department will continue achieving its main goals by implementing best methods, enhancing communication with the public, meeting their requirements, finding solutions for social problems within neighborhoods and communicating with government and local institutions and agencies", explained Al Minhali.
He explained the role of "On foot" patrols within residential areas to remove psychological barrier between them and police. He also talked about Community Police method of partnership with public agencies and institutions in Abu Dhabi and its role in supporting social work within residential areas. Moreover he mentioned the role of partnership in enhancing protection from crime and achieving effective cooperation between all.
At the end of the lecture Captain al Minhali answered the audience questions. The lecture was attended by Abdul Rahman Al Baqir, deputy Director of the general Authority of Pensions and Social Securities, Faheem Abdullah Fadhil, Director of Financial Affairs, Mohammad Qambir, Director of Information Systems, Omer Al Karbi, O/C of Services and Relations and a number of the Authority officials and employees.
