Pakistani and Indian Media Agencies honored
The Department of Security Media at the Secretariat General of the Office of HH the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior honored a number of Pakistani and Indian Media Institutions working in the country, for their cooperation in communicating ADP awareness message, highlighting its institutional, service and community role and establishing transparency principle in local news coverage, on Monday morning.
Lt. Colonel Khalid Saeed Al Shamsi, Deputy Director of Security Media, during the honoring ceremony, lauded the cooperation of Pakistani and Indian Medias with ADP GHQ in spreading safety and security awareness and strengthening strategic partnership ties among Indian communities, especially the working class.
In the same context Abdullah Shaheen, Media expert at the Department said "The Department of Security Media is keen to extend cooperation bridges with all Medias in order to reach different nationalities through best modern means to confirm the police message which aims to educate them on matters which enhance preventive efforts in crime combat, maintaining community safety and security and intensifying campaigns to ensure public safety".
The honored media persons belong to different Indian Language newspapers, Radio and TV Channels, such as:
Manorama, Mathrubhumi, Siraj, Madhyamam, Chandrika, Asia Net Radio, Asia Net TV, Kairali TV and Al Sharq Urdu newspaper. These newspapers and other medias operate from different place in the UAE and cater to Indian expatriates in the country.
At the end of the ceremony the honored media men expressed their gratitude for ADP GHQ gesture, affirming their continuous support at all times.
