In the light of an agreement made between them, the Abu Dhabi Police GHQ has discussed with the Higher Colleges for Technology (HCT) the possibility of a new batch of its personnel being enrolled in the emergency medicine program.
The program, a rare of its kind, contributes to sharpening the capabilities of the UAE national police personnel, and increases their scientific knowledge in accordance with the higher international standards.
Director General of Central Operations of Abu Dhabi Police, Major-General Ahmed Nasser Al Raisi, met at his office with Dr. Tayyeib Al Kamali Director of HCT complex.
The two sides have discussed the agreement signed between them and the graduation of the first emergency medicine batch of 12 students who studied at the HCT and who jointed practical training in the US and Australia.
Al Raisi reiterated the keenness of the police leadership on coordinating with all concerned agencies, to further enhance capabilities of its personnel in academic and training fields. He appreciated the effective efforts and participation of the HCT in making this vital program a success.
For his part, Dr. Kamali lauded the joint cooperation and keenness of higher leadership on upgrading human resources through providing scholarship in various domains, in line with the needs and the strategy of the Abu Dhabi Police GHQ.
