National student honored for innovation
Lt. General HH Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior directives; Major General Mohammad bin Al Awadhi Al Minhali, acting Director General of Policing Operations at Abu Dhabi Police honored a national student Khalid Mohammad Ali Al Shamari for his innovation.
The student has invented a system that coordinates the use of safety belt, starting of the engine and changing of gears. The vehicle can not be operated unless the safety belt is fastened. Al Shamari expressed his gratitude to Abu Dhabi police for appreciating his scientific device, and the efforts it does to motivate innovative minds.
