Mussafah Police honors the winners of Ramadan Icad Tournament
Mussafah Police Station and group Housing have recently celebrated the conclusion of Ramadan Five-a-side Football Tournament at Icad Housing City, between Pharaohs Team and Mussafah Police Team. Pharaohs Team defeated Mussafah Police Team 4-3.
The event was attended by Major Salim Khamis Al Kitbi, Director of Operations Affairs who attended on behalf of Colonel Mohammad Hamad Al Badi, Director of Mussafah Police Station, Abdullah Al Kaabi, Managing Director at the Housing City, Lt. Ali Salim Al Sayaari, Director of Community Policing Branch and a umber of officers, companies officials and fans.
Lt. Al Sayaari congratulated the gusts and the audience on the near advent of Eid Al Fitr. He affirmed the importance of activating partnerships between all government institutions and departments and private sector agencies as they play a role in the success of all social initiatives.. Mussafah organizes such events with a view to spread security culture and sense among all community segments, to combat and prevent crime.
The tournament has included a number of activities and 16 Teams representing 15 companies in addition to Mussafah Police Team.
A Ping Pong Competition was organized between teams of 14 companies. Joel, A Filipino players won the first place, while Leo, a Filipino player also won the second place. Badminton Competition comprised 16 teams from 16 companies. Pettrofac Company came first and K.M. Company came second.
At the end of the ceremony Major Salim honored the winning teams. Commemorative shields were exchanged between Mussafah Police Station and Icad Housing City.
