MoI organizes the second mass wedding for its employees next Monday
Under the patronage of Lt. General HH Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and minister of Interior, MoI will organize after tomorrow, Monday, at the Armed Forces Officers Mess in Abu Dhabi, the second mass wedding for MoI employees' children in collaboration with the Marriage Fund. More than 100 grooms will participate in the event.
The marriage fund is an effective partner with all government institutions. It is aim is to increase communication with these institutions and to spread the culture of mass weddings and to reduce wedding costs for stability of Emirati families.
MoI Department of Public Relations, on this occasion, has organized an awareness lecture for new grooms under the title "My happiness is in my marriage", delivered by Dr. Mahmood Mustafa Al Ssamadi, religious Preacher at MoI, in the presence of Brigadier Mohammad Saleh Badah, director of the Department.
He said "Marriage is a natural mode of life which leads to happiness, stability and peace of mind. It ensures continuity of human race and keeping persons away from illegal sexual practices. Therefore, our religion urges the youth to get married as soon as they feel that are ready to build a family. He has quoted a number of verses from the Holly Quran and Hadith.
"MoI in collaboration with the Marriage Fund organizes weddings for 100 young men of its employees every year, in order to strengthen the society and to build an stable and adherent families", added the lecturer.
Then he stressed the most important points for the audience, affirming the holiness of marriage and importance of treating the wife in a decent way as she is a partner in marriage contract. He cited Prophet Mohammad (Peace be upon him) as an example of ideal husband in terms of his kind treatment towards his wives.
