The Ministry of Interior showcased a rescue plane operating within the Abu Dhabi Air Wing, in the Private aviation exhibition, which is organized by the Abu Dhabi Airport Company (ADAC) in Al Bateen Executive Airport to educate the audience about its services and tasks.

Brigadier General Pilot Ali Mohammad Al Mazrouie, Director of the Air Wing Department in the Abu Dhabi Police said: “ showcasing the rescue plane that is equipped with the latest medical instruments aims to introduce the search and rescue services of the Air Wing Department to the audience, as well as other services such as transferring patients with critical health condition to concerned hospitals, handling road accidents, and other police activities such as recording of accidents, attending to fires, pursuing criminals, and monitoring traffic.”

Al Mazrouie mentioned that the Department participated in 13 events including the International Conference for Risk Control, Gulf Traffic Week, Al Ain Aerobatics Show and Search and Rescue Conference for Civil Defense.

The Ministry of Interior, represented by the Air Wing Department, and the General Directorate of Residence and Foreign Affairs (Emirates gate), participated in the  aviation exhibition organized by the Abu Dhabi Airport Company (ADAC) in Al Bateen Executive Airport . The airport is specialized in private aviation in the Gulf and the Middle East. The exhibition is held in an area of 70,000 square meters, with participation of 100 local and international companies working in the provision of services to private aviation.

The Ministry introduced the electronic gate system and procedures of issuing visas to the public.

Major Salim Saeed Al Ameri, Director of Public Relations and Customer Services Department in the Abu Dhabi General Directorate of Residency and Foreign Affairs, said: “Participation of Emirates Gate (e-government) management aims to provide a detailed explanation on visa and residency procedures, and investors of required specialization. It also introduces the latest technologies in unified electronic connection that simplifies procedures of travelers’ movement without the need to pass through immigration in the airport.”

He pointed out that the electronic gate system provides many facilities that include bypassing long queues in the Immigration Department, shortening passage time to not exceed five seconds, and trying not to stamp the passport and spare pages.

He added: “Users of the electronic gate receive a receipt stamped with the Ministry of Interior logo; it will contain all personal data, and date of departure and arrival. This fair will include a draw for prizes to the personnel who applied to get a card for the electronic gate during the exhibition.
