MoI discusses introduction of two prizes for
best company and security guard
Colonel Ahmed Mohammad Al Hanttoobi, Director of Private Security Business Department at MoI has revealed the Ministry plan to introduce two annual prizes for best company and security guard.
He also said "A Link Project has been prepared to link the Operation Rooms with companies specialized in money transport. He has advised companies to select their employees properly, to implement best methods in money and banks documents transport. He has urged companies not to employ persons bearing job titles that contradict what is adopted in government departments, such as "Security Officer".. Companies should sign contracts with MoI to get radio equipments "Tetra", for their employees. These equipments proved effective on many occasions.
He has stressed the importance of coordination between private security companies and agencies which organize government activities so as the companies can select and qualify suitable elements to secure these activities in cooperation with police elements.. He also has urged the companies to submit their initiatives and proposals for performance development and observe the country security and community customs and norms.
He has emphasized the importance of monthly meetings by companies, price list equal to the delivered services, and gives service quality priority over prophet element, some companies' owners who prefer prophet to security process. He has affirmed that such companies will not be able to continue their business as licensed entities by MoI.
