MoI Committee receives underage camel jockeys and their parents in Mauritania
The Committee Chaired by Major general Nasser Al Awadhi Al Minhali, MoI Assistant Undersecretary for Naturalization, Residency and Ports Affairs and concerned with the camel underage jockeys compensations has continued its inspection tour to Emirates projects targeting Mauritanian camel jockeys at Hibileish Village which is located 140 km from the Capital Nouakchott.
The projects executed by the Emirates for these children include schools, drinking water network, rehabilitation and integration into their communities. Al Minhali and his accompanying delegation met with children and their parents, where he listened to their views and the good impact of the Emirates projects on their lives and families.
Then the delegation viewed the other projects intended to support health, education and society development at Nouakchott, Dar Al Naeem and Al Mina Areas. The delegation also visited source of income projects in order to improve children lives and standard of living.
They also paid a visit to Juvenile Care Center in Nouakchott, which receives support from the Emirates project.
