Ministry of Interior honors partners of permanent committee for Hajj and Umra
Permanent committee for Hajj and Umra in the Ministry of Interior honored the supporting bodies and individuals at a ceremony held recently at the Police Officers Club.
Brig. Hamad Adeel Al Shamesi, Director-General of Punitive and Correctional Establishments in the Ministry of Interior, head of the Committee and a number of directors-general, department’s directors, and officers attended the ceremony.
“Cooperation between the police and the public should be promoted”, Al Shamesi confirmed, adding that honoring is one of the strategic priorities of the Ministry of Interior.
“The Ministry of Interior in its all sectors and apparatus is working to enhance its capabilities and increase the level of its performance in various areas in order to improve the public services which it delivers to the different segments of the society as well as to its employees”, he said.
He praised the huge efforts and facilities which all other external partners had presented to the Ministry of Interior, wishing that this cooperation will develop in the future.
In the end of the ceremony, Al Shamesi honored the departments and bodies which cooperated with the Permanent Committee for Hajj and Umra and handed over certificates of appreciation to their representatives.
The honoring included Etihad Airways, Abu Dhabi National Hotels Company, Al Manar for Hajj and Umra, and several Departments in Abu Dhabi Police including Finance Affairs, Medical Services, Personnel, Purchases and Warehouses, Ports and Airport Security and Clubs and Sport Activities.

Honored also in the ceremony were the Public Relations Department in the Ministry of Interior, and the Security Medial Department in the General Secretariat of the Office of HH Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior.
