Major General Khalifa Hareb Al Khaili, Assistant Undersecretary for Resources and Support Services at the Ministry of Interior, discussed in his office ways to enhance cooperation relations with the UAE Facilities Management Company. The meeting addressed means to exchange expertise and benefit from mutual potentials of both sides.
At the beginning of the meeting, Major General Al Khaili stressed the Ministry of Interior’s keenness to extend the bridges of collaboration with the various national authorities and institutions in the country to exchange expertise and visits, in order to serve the public interest.
Engineer Jamal Salim Al Saeedi, acting director of UAE Facilities Management, gave a presentation on the company and its fields of work. He highlighted the possibilities of providing certain technical, engineering and support services, in addition to body guard services. He pointed out that the company is regarded as one of the leading national companies dedicated to providing world-class comprehensive solutions for support services as per the latest international standards.
Furthermore, Major General Khalifa Hareb Al Khaili, Assistant Undersecretary for Resources and Support Services at the Ministry of Interior, met in his office the technical committee assigned to assess the current fleet of vehicles and other machinery at the MoI. The meeting discussed the outcome of the previous meetings held by the committee during the last period, following its establishment according to the decree number 307 of 2011 issued by Major General Khalifa Hareb Al Khaili.
The meeting also reviewed an inventory report on the current type and number of the existing machinery and vehicles. It reviewed the status of the operational performance indicator to measure the annual average use of assigned vehicles; and the establishment of a database which could very well become an online system operating as per the best modern standards. Other topics on the agenda were also under discussion.
The two meetings were attended by Brigadier Saeed Salim Al Henki, Director General of Finance and Support Services at the Ministry of Interior, Brigadier Ali Mohammed Abdulaziz bin Darwish, Director General of Human Resources at the Ministry of Interior, Colonel Adel Abdullah Al Nuaimi,
Director of the Transport and Workshops Department at the Ministry of Interior and Deputy Chairman of the technical committee assigned to assess the current fleet of vehicles and other machinery at the MoI. The meetings were also attended by the department directors of the General Department of the e-Services and communications, the General Department of Finance and Support Services and the General Department of Human Resources, in addition to a number of officials from the UAE Facilities Management Company.
