Ministry of Interior, Dubai Tourism explore areas of mutual Cooperation

A team from the Coordinative Committee for Media and Public Relations headed by Colonel Hussein Al Awadhi, Chief of Public Relations Section and director of the website visited the Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing in Dubai.

Upon arrival, he was received by Mohammed Khalifa Ahli, director of Inspection and Tourism Permits Department and a number of directors and officials at Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing.

The visit is part of the initiatives of the Coordinative Committee for Media and Public Relations and comes in line of the general strategy of the Ministry of Interior.

The two sides held a meeting during which they discussed ways of enhancing cooperation and exchange of visits, and learned about the mechanism of complaints and suggestions applicable by both sides.

The public relations visiting team was briefed on a number of issues including the role of the Department of Tourism in the service of visitors, the  cooperation with the security bodies in issuing touristic permits, and the role of marketing units to inform of  Dubai facilities. 

At the end of the visit, Colonel Al Awadhi extended thanks and appreciation to the officials at the Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing for their warm welcome and interaction.
