Merza: Abu Dhabi Police meets community security, social and economic needs
Lt. Colonel Mubarak bin Awadh bin Meheiroom, Director of community Policing Department at ADP GHQ in the Department building at Al Zaafranah, received Lt. Colonel (Dr.) Jasim Khaleel Merza, Director of Security Awareness Department at Dubai Police, along with the trainees of Dealing with the Public Skills training Course organized by the Department of Training at Meridian Hotel, Abu Dhabi.
Lt. Colonel bin Meheiroom confirmed ADP, represented by the Community Policing, keenness to enhance partnership with community authorities and institutions. He briefed them on the early beginnings of the community Policing Department and the areas of focus since the establishment of the Department. He also mentioned the objectives, work mechanisms and positive aspects that achieve effective communication with the community.
Lt. Colonel (Dr.) Merza stated that” ADP is in the lead regarding the project of community policing at the Region level, especially it adopts advanced methods of this concept which needs further deep studies”.
