Sheikh Mansour bin Mohammed bin Rashed Al Maktoum visited the Ministry of Interior (MoI) stand at GITEX 2011 and was received there by Lt. Colonel Faisal Al Shammari, security information officer and head of the executive committee of the MoI stand at GITEX.
Sheikh Mansour inspected the contents of the stand including the electronic projects, systems and services which the ministry of interior provides to its customers.
He was briefed about the Sahl machine project, the first of its kind in the region, which customers can use to get their car ownership cards renewed and replaced in case of damage of loss within less than two minutes.
He was also made aware of the computer emergency response team CERT, the electronic club, interactive message services and capsule diagnostic system provided by the medical services department of Abu Dhabi Police.
He was pleased with the MoI stand and satisfied with the electronic initiatives offered there. He thanked those in charge of the Stand and wished them all success.
A memorial present was given to the Sheikh Mansour on the occasion of his visit to the MoI stand at Gitex.
