Major General Al Nuaimi honors 18 ADP Journalists
Major General Nasser L Khreibani Al Nuaimi, Secretary General of the Office of HH the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior honored 18 journalists from ADP, on Monday, on the occasion of the Journalism Freedom World day (03 May), in appreciation of their distinguished journalistic role in spreading security culture of ADP.
Major General Al Nuaimi lauded the honored journalists and said their honoring was in response to the Directives of HH Lt. General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior for their efforts in publishing ADP activities and news in the Medias. HH hopes for further achievement by journalists to materialize the countries security and stability.
"Journalists are the link between the police organization and the Medias, which are considered the best partners to develop policing to reach highest standards of quality and excellence. Promotion of relationship between police and media is for the good of public interest", added Al Nuaimi.
General Supervisor of Press Affairs at the Department of Technical affairs and Security Media Mr. Abdullah Shaheen and the honored journalists expressed their happiness with the honoring. It was a good gesture strengthening brotherly relations between work colleagues and their organization, to motivate them to double their efforts in the future. He appreciated ADP approach in keeping pace with all local and global events and occasions.
The ceremony was attended by Lt. Colonel (Dr.) Fawaz Khaleel Badran from the Secretariat general of the Office of HH the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior and a number of officers.
The Security media Department is in the process of preparing annual honoring celebrations for a large number of media men at different Medias and persons cooperate with the Department, in appreciation of their efforts in publishing and highlighting the news and activities of MoI and ADP GHQ, by word and photo. This move is within the framework of its keenness to materialize the principle of partnership with different community segments.
