Major General Khalifa Hareb Al Khaili, Assistant Undersecretary of the Ministry of the Interior for Resources and Support Services attended the celebration marking the UAE 41st National Day. The ceremony, organized by the Public Relations Department at the Ministry of Interior, was held in the Union Hall at the Ministry’s Headquarters, under the slogan "Spirit of the Union".
Attending the ceremony were Lt. General Khamis Bin Saif, General Director of Criminal Section at the Ministry of the Interior; Major General Ahmed Nasser Al Raisi, Director General of Abu Dhabi Police Central Operations, and Major General Mattar Salim Al Neyadi, Director General of Electronic Services and Telecommunications at the Ministry of Interior. Also attending were Directors-General; department directors; and a large number of officers, non-commissioned officers and individuals, women and staff from the various departments of the Ministry of Interior.
Al Khaili welcomed attendees, and expressed his heartfelt congratulations to the Higher Leadership on this special occasion.
He stated, “In this giving country and under the Higher Leadership, we pursue the path of progress and development. It is our duty to exert all efforts to achieve the very best results. We are delighted to share the joy of the National Day with the new generation, to inculcate in them the love for this land, and the sense of national affiliation”.
He added that the National Day celebrations reflect the pride and honor of the UAE success story; pointing out that the UAE has achieved a remarkable position in the world, with its numerous achievements during the past 41 years.
Later on, the audience watched a documentary titled “Identity”, highlighting the UAE’s journey since its early beginnings, until the era of progress and development that the State is currently witnessing, in the various aspects of life.
Moreover, Horizon School students presented “Al Yolah” folk dance; while students from “Al Yasat” School presented a national and heritage art show, that was met with great admiration from the audience.
At the end of the ceremony, Major General Al Khaili paid tribute to the schools participating in the celebration.
