MOU between MoI and German Organization in Fire Prevention
HH Lt. General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior and HE Humeid Mohammad Obeid Al Qattami, Minister of Education witnessed yesterday the signing of a MOU between the Ministry of Interior and the German Organization for Fire Protection to cooperate in fires prevention areas.
Major General Nasser La Khreibani Al Nuaimi, Secretary General of HH’s office signed for MoI and Mr. Hans Goshen Blat signed for the Organization. Major General Ahmed Nasser Al Raisi, Director General of Central Operations and a number of officers were present during the ceremony.
According to Al Nuaimi the signing of the MOU comes within HH’s vision to cooperate with friendly nations in areas of mutual interest, and by implementing global standards in this regard.
With the MOU there would be cooperation in fire prevention areas and exchange of information concerning work plans and strategies to reduce risks and threats resulting from fires and other civil disasters. National cadres have received advanced training provided with the latest technology to promote the services to international standard levels.
