MISSF to open new headquarters
Major General Nasser Al Awadhi Al Menhali, Assistant Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior for Naturalization, Residency and outlets Affairs, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Ministry of Interior’s Social Solidarity Fund (MISSF) opened on Tuesday the new headquarters of the MISSF located in Abu Dhabi opposite to the ministry of interior.
Al Menhali cut the ribbon to mark the official opening of the new headquarters. Then he toured the building and inspected its modern facilities which assist in increasing work efficiency.
He stressed that opening of the new headquarters is coming as per the instructions of Lt. General H.H Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minster and Minster of Interior to develop the financial resources of the Fund and to present a qualitative leap and new vision to serve employees of the ministry of interior.
Ministry of Interior Social Solidarity Fund aims to deliver assistance to the employees and retired staff members of the ministry of interior, support the spirit of cooperation and solidarity among the members, and deliver all possible aid to them, said Al Menhali.
In 2011, Fund offered easy loans worth AED 5.940.000 and humanitarian assistance worth AED 186.000, he added.
On the sidelines of the ceremony, the Fund’s Board of Directors held a meeting during which the articles on the agenda have been discussed, and adequate decisions regarding them have been taken.
The event was attended by Colonel Khamis Al Dhaheri, Deputy Chairman of the Board of Directors of MISSF, Colonel Ali Mohammed Al Shamesi, member of the Board of Directors, and a number of police officers.
