A visiting Kuwaiti delegation, headed by Major General Mahmoud Mohammed Al Dosari, Assistant Undersecretary for General Security Affairs expressed admiration for the services provided by the Vehicles and Drivers Licensing Department, at Abu Dhabi Police, including the latest techniques to speed up and facilitate these services to the public.
Major General Ahmed Nasser Al Raisi, Director General of Central Operations at the Abu Dhabi Police General Headquarters, met with the delegation while visiting the Vehicles and Drivers Licensing Department.
Al Raisi said the delegation was briefed on the latest devices and technical equipment used in the vehicles technical examination and plates factory, referring to the keenness of Abu Dhabi Police to provide all required potential and the data for the visiting delegation; to enhance relationships and shared experiences between the two countries.
Al Raisi had accompanied the delegation on a tour to learn about the latest methods such as integrated electronic system linking the Naturalization and Residency Department, the Customs Department, car sale agencies, insurance companies, and used vehicles showrooms, and the municipalities of Al Ain and the Western Region, and other relevant authorities.
The visiting delegation was also briefed on the electronic archive that was set up according to the highest standards to ensure fast achievement of work, and secure the required documents.
The visiting delegation was also briefed on the experience of the “comprehensive employee” which has saved the time and effort of all customers coming to the Department to get their car mechanically checked, their car ownership renewed or transferred. The experience helped finalizing all these services in a record time compared with the previous time.
The delegation also paid a visit to the Emirates Driving School and got briefed on the programs and services offered there.
Sheikh Mishaal Shamlan Al Sabah, Chairman of the Kuwaiti Driving company praised the qualitative leap made by the Vehicles and Drivers Licensing Department, and the Driving Emirates School , adding that the aim of the visit is to exchange experiences between the two brotherly countries, and get acquainted with the latest developments that have been done in relation to technical testing procedures, and the issuance of licenses and learning of car driving, and methods of electronic accomplishing of various transactions relating to vehicle license.
