Judicial Control Officials qualified in Private Security Business Department
MoI Private Security Business Department (PSBD) has organized, in collaboration with ADP GHQ Department of Planning and Training a training course under the title “Qualifying Judicial Control Officials at PSBD”. A number of officers, NCOs and personnel attended the course. The course was held in two stages. The first took place at the Directorate General of Ajman Police and the second at the Armed Forces Mess.
Hussam Al Shazali, Legal Advisor at the Department was the instructor of the course. The trainees were introduced to the Penal Law, Penal Procedures Law and PSBD Law. The course focused on workshops to train the trainees in drafting of reports, memoranda and different minutes by use of modern audio-visual aids.
The course was followed by field visits in order to increase communication ties, to practise penal procedures and criminal claim stages, in coordination with Rashid Jumaa bin Humeid, Advocate General of Um Al Quwein Prosecution.
He discussed the most important points to increase the experience of Officials, with Public Prosecutors, and reviewing the methods to be followed in evidence collection, investigation and charging.
The trainees reviewed in cooperation with the Department of Security Information, the criminal classification of crimes related to PSBD, including delivering security services without licence, whether by private security companies or other independent commercial companies which offer security services on their sponsorship without licence, or an individual who deliver private security service without getting individual licence.
At the end of the course, Major Saeed Obeid Al Shamsi, Head of Private Security Business Licensing Section at the Northern Emirates honored the top performers of trainees and gave away certificates to graduates.
