The idea of holding the Ministry of Interior Village at the traditional souq in the Western Region area of Al Dhafra contributes to establishing values of community culture and enhancing social and national interaction, said Sheikh Marwan bin Rashid Al Mualla, Chairman of Umm Al Quwain’s Department of Land and Property and also chairman of the UAE Emirates Motor Sports Federation (EMSF).

Sheikh Marwan was visiting on Wednesday the MoI village 2011. He toured the different pavilions and viewed the services the ministry of interior's departments offers to the members of the public.

Sheikh Marwan was accompanied during the visit by Colonel Hussein Al Awadhi, head of the organizing committee and supervisor of the village.

He wrote a personal note on the guest book where he extended thanks and apperception to those in charge of the village for their sincere efforts.
Shung Sun Kang, head of Security & Safety Nuclear Control Agency in South Korea also visited the village and viewed the exhibits.

The Special Security Forces Command participates in Village by the shooting range which receives visitors of different ages. They can fire at both mobile and stationary targets, with as many as 3 shots for every visitor. Since the village was inaugurated, 20.000 shots have been fired so far, using revolver and rife.

In a cheerful atmosphere, the Village continued its activities while the police band was performing stunning music. The village witnessed a huge crowd of visitors both Emiratis and expatriates, of all ages.

the open theatre attracted massive crowd of people who interacted with the different shows and  contests presented by Warrant officer, Halima Al Khuzaimi and Jassim Obied who dressed up as a teddy bear. Winners received laptops, vouchers, plane tickets, mobile phones, electronic devices and watches.
