Guidance program for female inmates
of Correctional and Punitive Establishments by Community police 

 

The Department of Community Police at Abu Dhabi Police has organized a guidance and informative programme for female inmates of the Correctional and Punitive Establishments in Abu Dhabi.

The programme is part of ADP GHQ strategy to enhance the level of its services to community members and raise the standards of policing to new heights.

The programme was organized by the Guidance Section of the Community Police which comprised lectures in English language for non-Arabic speaking inmates which focused on good conduct, merits of honesty, leniency and patience among community members.

 According to Lt. Colonel Mubarak Awadh bin Meheiroom Director of Community Police, these lectures are part of the Department’s objectives to inculcate security culture and social awareness among the community and enhance efforts to prevent crimes ant it requires the cooperation of all community members, nationals and residents.

Captain Al Hajj Mabkhoot Al Minhali, Head of Social Relations and Guidance Section said “Our guidance programmes are not limited to certain nationality, but they cover all nationalities in different languages residing in Abu Dhabi. Guidance of female inmates is part of the Section’s plan to reach all sectors”.

The lecture was delivered by 1st W/O Fatima Hassan Al Hosani under the supervision of Lt. Sheikha Humeid Al Zaabi.
