The Police College celebrated the graduation of 156 participants, including 12 females, after completing the qualification course to the rank of Lieutenant, at its Abu Dhabi headquarters.
The ceremony was attended by Major General Khalifa Hareb Al Khaili, Assistant Undersecretary of the Ministry of the Interior for Resources and Support Services; Brigadier General Abdul Rahman Al Naqbi, General Supervisor of Military Training at the Ministry of Interior; H.E. Colonel Saif Al Kutobi, Police College Director; Department Managers; Heads of Departments and a number of officers from the Police College.
In his address on the occasion, Major General Al Khaili praised the support dedicated by the higher leadership to the Ministry of Interior. Moreover, he stressed that the concepts of modernization, development, keeping abreast of new developments, and continuous education have became a major component of Ministry of Interior’s culture, deep-rooted traditions, values of work, and developed performance standards; to qualify and train its staff as per the most advanced international standards.
He underscored the keenness of the Ministry of Interior to hone and improve the potentials and competencies of its officers and individuals with highest levels of scientific, academic and training attainment. This aims to qualify police officers and provide them with knowledge and modern training methods.
Police College Director praised the efforts of the graduates after completing and successfully passing the promotion requirements. This allows them to join their colleagues and superiors in serving the nation, to preserve the national achievements made by the state.
He also commended the graduates’ level and the efforts they exerted. He congratulated them and urged them to redouble efforts in practical life; and to make honorable achievements to enhance security and safety in the homeland.
At the end of the ceremony, Major General Al Khaili, H.E. Colonel Al Kutobi and Lieutenant Colonel Al Khuzaimi handed out certificates to the graduates.
