Colonel Hamad Nasser Al Baloushi, Director of Peripheral Areas Traffic Department at the Abu Dhabi Police GHQs attended the graduation ceremony of the second edition of Traffic Skills enhancement held at the Police Officers’ Club in Al Ain.
Al Baloushi stressed the importance of such courses in raising the efficiency of traffic and patrols personnel, and introducing them to the latest developments in their field of work, as per the Abu Dhabi Police GHQ’s strategy.
Lt. Colonel Abdullah Salem Al Muhri, Head of Traffic Institute, explained in his address that the course organized by the institute included a number of traffic programs, namely; impounding vehicles; using the Tetra Communication system and other programs, in addition to the legal aspects of action on accidents’ scenes.
Al Muhri valued the efforts of the participating personnel in the course, who interacted actively with the theoretical lectures and practical sessions. He also thanked trainers for their dedication to achieve the goals of the course, to enhance the skills of the police personnel, and improve their work.
Captain Salem Ali Al Kutbi, Director of Training Affairs at the Institute gave a PowerPoint presentation, showcasing the skills and practical applications acquired by the trainees. The presentation was commended by the attendees.
He noted that the course, which was held at the Institute, lasted for three weeks and was attended by 49 commissioned, non-commissioned officers and constables from the various divisions and branches of the Peripheral Areas Traffic Department.
Concluding the ceremony Colonel Al Baloushi distributed certificates on graduates, and posed for commemorative snapshots with participants. The ceremony was attended by Major Mohsen Saeed Al Mansouri, Chief of Al Ain Traffic and Patrols Directorate; Major Salah Abdullah Al Hemiari; Major Matar Abdullah Al Muhairi, Director of the Traffic Violations Branch; and Major Muhammed Salem Al Amri, Director of Traffic Control Branch at the Department, alongside a number of officers from Al Ain Traffic and Patrols Department and the Traffic Institute.
