Finance and Assets discusses the proposals of Civil Defence training project budget
Ministry of Interior Finance and assets High Permanent Committee has held a meeting chaired by Major General Khaleel Dawood Badran, Director General of Finance and Services at ADP and Chairman of the High Committee.
The meeting has discussed a number of issues including the proposed budget for the training and qualification of the Civil Defence General Headquarters personnel, a report about evaluation works of High Permanent Committees and their Sub-committees in continuation of committees work mechanisms during the past period and the proposals to activate their future role.
Chairman of the High Committee has listened to a number of practicable proposals which contribute to enhancement of efforts to develop the tasks of the High Committee and Sub-committees in cooperation with relevant authorities at the Ministry of Interior.
At the end of the meeting it has been decided to submit the training project budget proposals to the Department of High Committees for necessary action and to follow up completion of Sub-committees evaluation work during the coming period.
The Training and Qualification Project of Civil Defence GHQ personnel includes development efforts in training a group of Operations Teams Officers, Protection and Safety Engineers, new students of Fire Fighting Engineering Bachelor Holders, Safety Inspectors and other cadres within the development plans.
The meeting was attended by Colonel Mohammad Abdullah Al Nuaimi, Director of Emergency and Public safety, Colonel Saeed Saif Al Nuaimi, Chairman of Purchasing and Stores Committee, Colonel Adel Abdul Rahman Abdullah, Chairman of Budget Financial Planning Committee, Colonel Anwar Mohammad al Mulla, Chairman of Practices Committee, a number of MoI officers, Deputy Chairman of Finance and accounts Committee and civilian members of the Committee.
