Abu Dhabi Police GHQ signed an agreement with National Bank of Abu Dhabi (NBAD) as part of the joint cooperation to facilitate procedures, thereby providing distinguished services for the public.
The agreement was signed by Major General Khalil Dawood Badran, director general of Finance and Services at Abu Dhabi Police, and Saif Ali Al Shehhi, General Manager of the Domestic Banking Division of NBAD in presence of a big number of officials representing both sides.
The agreement comes in line with the directives of the Lt. General H.H Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minster and Minster of Interior to coordinate and cooperate with relevant sectors in order to develop partnership mechanisms to the highest levels, said Badran.
As per the circular No (1) 201l issued by the Executive council of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, the Abu Dhabi Police will bear all additional fees resulting from use of credit card in the payment of fees or driving fines such as car registration, renewal of driving license and other services offered by the traffic police in the emirate, he said.
The agreement will contribute to encouraging the members of the public to use credit cards in paying out their dues whether online, directly or via automated payment kiosks, he pointed out.
For his part, Saif Al Shehhi, stated the agreement helps uplift the level of services to meet the tremendous economic jump being witnessed by the Emirate of Abu Dhabi in all fields.
The Bank is fully committed to implementing the agreement which will contribute to facilitating the services offered to the members of the public and encouraging them to use the latest banking technologies, he underlined.
