Directory on ADP Governance and Projects 

 

The Secretariat General of the Office of HH the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior has issued a Guiding Directory on “ADP Projects and Programmes Governance-2010”. The Directory is intended to describe governance structure and management processes of ADP programmes and projects.

ADP GHQ seeks to, within the framework of its efforts to implement its strategic plan for 2010, to become a distinguished organization in strategic planning, performance, programmes and projects management areas. Thus ADP will be able to meet the increasing demands of the government, to follow up work progress and to submit cost reports.

Major General Nasser La Khreibani Al Nuaimi, Secretary General of HH’s Office said “Preparation of the Directory for ADP Projects Governance is essential for increasing knowledge and education on this area. Governance gives its utmost attention to this issue starting from promoting the service it delivers to the public, enhancing the efforts of adopting the desired standards and implementing them in accordance with the strategic plan of this sector. This contributes to unification of resources, skills and technologies in a methodological ways for approving and managing advanced projects and promoting policing to best levels”.

“One of the UAE achievements in this area, Projects Governance, is the proposal submitted to UN Criminal Justice Office about a study on private security business sector. Emirates initiative has received high global attention, which seeks setting up of organizational controls for a sector, which has achieved a number of positive results in the society, through compliance with organizational conditions and standards. MoI model and its management of this important sector is a result of lengthy studies involving the experiences of three countries, until it has reached its own vision which complies with the UAE community entity and values. Now it is being implemented through a developed global approach”, added Al Nuaimi.
