Community Policing intensifies its activity with Educational Institutions
The Department of Community Policing at Abu Dhabi Police presented an awareness show represented in Dabdoob Personality, Sergeant Jasim Obeid. The show took place in Al Jumeirah Model School for Girls, Dubai. The aim of the show was to instill national and educational values in young generations.
According to captain Al Hajj Mabkhoot Al Minhali, Head of Awareness and Guidance Section at the Department of Community Policing, the Department responds to all invitations it receives for giving advice and guidance. The Department is ready to present its awareness and educational programmes and shows at schools and educational institutions, in accordance with its strategic plan.
Dabdoob during his show presented a number of awareness hints, such national identity, how to approach Police Departments and Sections, Emergency phone numbers. He presented a brief explanation of the Community Policing Department role in life. He explained to them how to ride and leave school bus and how to cross roads in a safe way. The show included some gifts and presents for the pupils to encourage them to comply with traffic rules.
