Community Police prepare for the Camel Festival in Western Region
A delegation from the Community Police department headed by Lt. Colonel Mubarak Awadh bin Meheiroom paid a visit to the Camel Festival location at Al Dhafra.
The Festival is organized by Abu Dhabi Authority for Culture and Heritage during the period from 30 January to 8 February 2010, in Zayed City at the Western region.
According to bin Meheiroom the aim of the visit was to identify the best location and method to represent the Community Police in the coming event in order to reflect the civilized role of ADP GHQ by participation in such festivities.
The participation also assists in introducing ADP objectives and efforts to enhance trust between the community members and police organization. Moreover such participations disseminate security culture and social awareness which will assist in reducing crime.
The delegation included Major Mohammad Rashid Al Minhali, Director of Zayed City Police Station, Western Region, Captain Al Hajj Mabkhoot Al Minhali, Captain Bahyan Mohammad Al Amri, 1st Lt. Hamad Ashier Al Mansoori and 1st W/o Issa Al Falasi.
