Community Police distributes gifts to inpatient children
at Al Mafraq Hospital
A delegation from Abu Dhabi Community Police extended ADP GHQ greetings on the advent of Eid Adha to inpatient children at al Mafraq Hospital, on Tuesday.
The visiting delegation comprised captain Al Hajj Mabkhoot Al Minhali, Head of Social Relations Section, well known media man Jasim Obeid (Dabdoob) and a number of the Community Police elements.
The delegation was received at Pediatrics Section by Dr. Thaqaf Al Alawi, pediatrics Consultant and officer in Charge of Thalassaemia Section at the Hospital.
Jasim Obeid (Dabdoob) gave away the gifts to the children and he staged funny shows included cultural quizzes about the UAE, role of police in the community and how to communicate with police at all times.
Captain al Minhali said “This visit comes within the framework of participation in all community occasions and events, with a view to achieve the general strategy of Abu Dhabi Police, which aims to reassure patients and to follow up their medical condition, and to cheer up patients and their relatives.
Dr. Thaqaf Al Alawi expressed his deep thanks and appreciation to the Department of Community Police for their humanitarian role within the community partnership with all community members.
