Civil Defence organizes specialized workshop
 
 

The Directorate General for Civil Defence has organized a workshop themed “together for more excellence” at Holyday Inn Hotel in Abu Dhabi with the participation of 114 officers.

Opened by Colonel Mohammed Abdullah Al Nuaimi, acting director of the Civil Defence, the workshop focused on enhancing safety and security in the society.

Civil Defence is receiving a great deal of support by the higher leadership in order that it assumes its tasks properly, Al Nuaimi affirmed in word he delivered in this occasion.

The goal of the workshop is to discuss the responsibilities and tasks of Civil Defence, and also to gather as one team in order to achieve the required goals, he added.

He affirmed that the government’s main goal is to make Abu Dhabi among the world’s best cities, through enhancing the level of health, education and security services. 

Then Colonel Jumaa Al Dahmani, Director of Resources and Support Services at the Directorate General for Civil Defence reviewed the action plan of the Directorate General in order to upgrade the level of personnel and overcome the obstacles of work.

Then Colonel Hamad Al Riyami, Director of Civil Defence Stations Department discussed the development plan of his department.

At the end of the workshop, Al Nuaimi honored 17 police officers in recognition of their huge efforts and their devotedness.
