Al Shaafar decorates MoI officers with their new ranks
Lt. General Saif Abdullah Al Shaafar, MoI Undersecretary, decorated large group of officers with their new ranks, in accordance with the Federal decree No.19 of 2010, issued by the President, His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan (God bless him). The ceremony was held on Tuesday at MoI Lecture room.
Al Shaafar congratulated the promoted officers, and extended to them the greetings and blessing of Lt. General His Highness Sheikh Saif bin Zayed al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, and lauded their efforts.
Al Shaafar affirmed that this promotion was an extension of the Higher Leadership interest and appreciation of the country people continuous efforts and honorable achievements to protect the country’s security and stability, and to safeguard the country’s gains. He indicated that, when MoI got 13 awards and one medal of Sheikh Khalifa Government Excellence Programme at the national level, and the country got the fourth place in security services globally, were the result of team work and efforts and the development achieved by MoI.
This generous gesture of promoting large number of MoI officers had noble meanings of continuous support by our High Leadership to its people, in appreciation of their great efforts in protecting and boosting the country’s security and stability, added al Shaafar.
We would be looking forward to getting the first place at the world level during the coming few years. This was not a dream, but was an aim which could be achieved. He urged them for more efforts and dedication in work to confront regional and international challenges. Then he wished them every success in the future.
The ceremony was attended by Brigadier Mohammad Saleh Badah, Acting Director general of Public Relations and Colonel Mohammad Obeid al Dhahri, MoI Director of Personnel Affairs.
