Al Rahba "Community Police" presents 2010 achievements

Al Rahba Police Station of the Peripheral Areas Police Directorate celebrated on Thursday the conclusion of community activities for 2010, where the achievements during the above mentioned period were presented to the partners attending the ceremony.

The ceremony was attended by Major Khatim Mubarak al Kitbi, Representative of Al Rahba Comprehensive Police Station Director, who welcomed the audience for their interest ands cooperation in achievements.

Captain Abdullah Al Harthi, Head of Community Police Section briefed the attendin partners on the achievements in which they participated with Al Rahba Comprehensive Police Station and Community Police Section.

He also explained the initiatives and their goals and objectives. He stressed that cooperation between the police and the community indicates the depth and strength of relationship between them, so as to serve the community and to maintain its security and safety.

The meeting discussed a number of issues brought forward by partners including obstacles which could be avoided in the future and to develop some initiatives presented by the public and privates sectors.

At the end of the ceremony they recommended organization of a number of periodical workshops between partners, in addition to awareness campaigns to for students and parents. They also discussed the requirements of the coming year plan.
