The Traffic and Patrol Directorate at Abu Dhabi Police General Headquarters, represented by Al Ain Traffic Division, continues to introduce Al Ain citizens to the objective of the “Together” Traffic Awareness online Program launched on Facebook, Twitter and Youtube. This initiative is part of the 28th GCC Traffic week held under the theme “Together to Reducing Traffic Accidents”.
Major Mohsen Saeed Al Mansouri, Head of Traffic and Patrols Division in Al Ain, inaugurated yesterday in Al Bawadi Mall the “No Violations” initiatives, which aim at urging drivers to keep their records clean with no major violations. A page about the initiative was created on Facebook to attract the biggest number of fans.
Al Mansouri pointed out that celebrating Gulf Traffic Week at Al Bawadi Mall in Al Ain included many events including a traffic exhibition during which a “Totrax” new patrol was on display for the first time in the UAE. The patrol presented is a car and a motorbike as well. The vehicle drew the attention of the mall visitors, especially youngsters and children. An environment friendly Golf car was also displayed. Awareness publications were distributed by students from C2 and C3 levels at Khaled bin Al Waleed School.
On Tuesday morning and as part of the introductory initiatives, First Lieutenant Qassem Al Meqbali and First Lieutenant Nasser Al Darei, Director of Protocol Department, and First Lieutenant Hamdan Hassan bin Dhebian, inaugurated “I arrived safely” initiative at ADNOC station in Masaken on Al Ain-Dubai road, to introduce the audience to the awareness programs organized in this regard.
